Mend & Make
June 7th, 1pm
Join a teaching artist and local fashion designer from the Athena Project for a class designed to help you mend what’s yours and take it home better than before!
Bring a garment or textile from home that needs repair OR select a small potholder pattern to follow when you arrive and learn hand sewing techniques like hemming, stitching, and mending that will last you beyond this two-hour workshop.
This is a great class for beginners and returning makers alike, and is intended for older adults (55+).
Pride Chimes
June 28th, 1pm
Join the artists of Bigger Table Art Collective for a colorful, joy-filled glazing workshop in celebration of Pride Month.
In this class, you’ll choose between creating a rainbow wind chime or a wall hanging using locally handmade ceramic pieces crafted by our artists. We’ll provide a full range of rainbow hues, so you can design a piece that feels personal, whether you’re celebrating your own identity, showing support, or simply drawn to the beauty of color.
You will be guided through glazing techniques to help you layer color, create flow, and bring your vision to life. Each piece becomes a small expression of pride, connection, and creativity.
No experience needed—just come as you are.
Your finished piece will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup the following weekend.
